Lena lives happily with her husband, Nikos and their daughter, Ersi. There is a significant age difference between Lena and her husband. One day, Lena is visited by her husband’s niece, Maro (Ksenia Kalogeropoulou) who reveals her love for Alexis to her, asking for help to persuade her parents to giver their marital consent. Alexis’ past is rather misty. Maro’s mother soon finds out about his previous connection to Zoe - something which Zoe took care of - , who, in her turn does anything she can to stop Alexis from getting married. Indeed, following Lena’s efforts, Nikos invites Alexis at a reception he organises in his house. From the first moment Lena sees Alexis, and Alexis sees Lena, a destructive feeling develops between them that they cannot admit even to themselves.
